Karina Twiss is a photographer and director based between London, Paris and Norway.
Born and raised on the coast of Norway, her work is shaped by an early connection to nature, visual storytelling and portraiture. After completing a degree in Visual Communication and working as 1st assistant to fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø, she established an international practice spanning fashion, beauty, portraiture and personal projects.
Alongside editorial and commercial commissions, Karina’s work explores themes of femininity, atmosphere and identity through a spontaneous and expressive visual language. Her imagery has been published internationally across fashion, beauty and arts platforms, while her personal work continues to develop alongside a growing interest in landscape, ecology and visual research.
Karina is also an Associate Lecturer at London College of Fashion, UAL.
